Running Dirty. Eating Clean. Loving Life.

Our girls have learned that sweat is sexy, brawn is beautiful and a little dirt never hurt anyone. ~Louise Slaughter

I like it dirty

Ok, I’ll admit it.  I’m a dirty girl.  No, not like that.  Get your mind out of the gutter.  What I meant to say is that my idea of a good run is when I come home with mud up to my knees, hair a wild tangled mess, drenched in sweat.  You won’t find me pounding away the miles on a treadmill at the gym (as long as I can help it).  I’m much more at home running through the woods, hurdling logs and rocks, splashing across streams.  If you’ve ever wondered just what it means to run like a girl, I dare you to try and keep up.

  3. I agree 100%……That’s why I loved cross country over anything else. The muddier the better, bring on the stream crossings, and go ahead and rain all you want!
